Colossal image of Yaksha

This free-standing colossal image of sandstone represents Ayasha, ascribable to second century B.C. Its maximum height is 2.32 m and maximum width is 90 cm. The Yaksha is pot-bellied having long ear-studs,torque, armlets, udarbandha and a side-knot at the head and wears a lower garment. It is notified vide Act No. LXXI of 1951,dated 28.11.1951.
