The old temple dedicated to lord Siva, faces west and consists of sanctum, antarala and pillared mandapa, now ruined. The temple represents a variety of the Bhumija style. The basal mouldings and the jangha portion are beautifully adorned with sculptures and decorative carvings. Lakulisa is carved in relief as the lalatabimba of the sanctum doorway. The sanctum enshrines a Siva-linga. The temple is datable to circa twelfth century. It is notified vide F.4-32/63-C.I dated 04.06.1964.
