Hathi Bhata

A monolithic figure of colossal elephant carved in granite faces south-west. Its maximum length is 8.60 m. Average diameter of its legs at base is 1.80 m. Its left ear bears five line inscription in Devanagari characters, datable to the medieval period. It is notified vide Act No. LXXI of 1951 dated 28.11.1951.
